The battlefield requires vessels that can sustain extended bouts of combat. The Kaalakiota's Blackbird, designed for raids, is a pretty good choice.

Cruisers are the workhorse of mid-game EVE Echoes — enough tank to survive a mistake, enough damage to clear anomalies solo, and cheap enough to lose without rebuilding your wallet. Most players spend the longest stretch of their progression here.
