Abaddon

The Abaddon class ship is a celestial tool of destruction. It is designed to enter combat from the outset, targeting enemies at range and firing salvo after salvo at them, and to remain intact on the battlefield until every heretic in sight has been torn to shreds. The Tash-Murkon family, much like other influential organizations in the Amarr Empire, adopted the Abaddon for use by officers serving the fleet. After the design for the defense-boosted Abaddon was leaked, many capsuleer pilots jumped on the chance to experience what was once a privilege of the aristocrats.

Battleships are the heaviest sub-capital hulls, built to hold a line rather than chase anything down. They bring the tank and raw damage for high-level missions and fleet engagements, but they are slow to reposition and expensive to replace.
