This ship modification is designed to reduce the Minimum Scan Radius of the Resonance Scanner and the Scan Radius of the Narrow Range Wave Resonance Scanner

Rigs are permanent hull upgrades: they cost a rig slot and calibration rather than capacitor, and cannot be swapped freely once installed. That permanence is why rig choice is made alongside the fit, not after it.
