This ship modification is designed to decrease the powergrid need of a ship's cannons.

Rigs are permanent hull upgrades: they cost a rig slot and calibration rather than capacitor, and cannot be swapped freely once installed. That permanence is why rig choice is made alongside the fit, not after it.
