Corelum B-Type Medium Snubnosed Railgun

Snubnosed railguns operate on a similar principle to rifled railguns, except that they fire a magnetically contained ball of subatomic particles. No other turret class can match the sheer destructive power of snubnosed railguns, but due to the rapid dispersion of the containment field, they also have the worst range of all turrets.

Railguns are the long-range hybrid turret line: high damage projected at distance, with tracking that struggles against anything fast and close. They favour fits that control range rather than brawl.
